LinkedIn Redesign

Mobile Design

Context

LinkedIn is a professional social network aimed at companies, businesses, and employment.

About 300 million people use LinkedIn every month. That is why it is essential to understand the implementation of functional and straightforward design elements.

Design elements

I researched interfaces of other applications that serve large audiences, as well as LinkedIn.

I decided to delete items such as the cover image on the contacts screen to increase the prominence of the action buttons.

I also added an ignore button to clarify the action of exploring new people of interest.

In the case of the menu screen, I removed the dividing lines and increased the spaces between each section to obtain a menu that looks simple and easy to navigate.

Result

The result is a clean, tidy, and professional interface.

I made the iOS and Android version, and also proposed a dark mode version - which LinkedIn currently does not have enabled.
